Hi my name is Jenny and I am the owner of Purple Holly which was founded over six years ago.
What did you do before Purple Holly?
I worked as a Human Resources Manager for an information technology firm, the NHS and a University. I also had a stint as a recruitment consultant and I started my working life in the hotel industry.
What makes you excited to work at Purple Holly?
Our customers and providing a personalised customer service. We talk directly with our customers and we are always excited to launch a new product range that people love to buy for their home or as a gift for a loved one.

Purple Holly have been busy working on a fresh new look – now the time has finally come for the grand unveiling!
During the past six years Purple Holly has grown rapidly and we’re now entering a new phase. In order to achieve the new look we teamed up with local marketing guru Mindy from arora marketing lincoln. The team at Arora Marketing carefully created our new logo after several weeks of planning and research. Following this our brand was updated to reflect our contemporary, stylish home accessories and gifts.
Our Logo Explained
It is about simplicity and our logo has been designed to be easily identifiable and show what we represent. The purple gift tag is one of the main characteristics of the new logo. Embedded inside the gift tag is a little house to show customers that we sell stylish home gifts. The gift tag is placed at an angle to demonstrate our selection of quirky gifts, and gift ideas. We will use our gift badges separately or together for advertising, marketing and social media:-
Our primary colour is purple (as before) and we have teamed it with turquoise, to give our website a softer tone. The text “Purple Holly” is stylish and contemporary, and the strapline “stylish home gifts” is in lower case, with a slightly more rounded font to emphasise our friendly, personalised customer service. We retained “stylish home gifts” as our strapline as this says what we are all about. However, we also have a secondary new strapline “gift giving made easy” which we will use when advertising gifts during the seasonal period.
Besides the website, you’ll also be seeing our rebrand in other places too, with everything from our print adverts in Your Home magazine and social media.
